Integrate Oppido with Slack
Who is the Slack integration meant for?
The Oppido/Slack integration is meant for any Oppido user. Both frequent and in-frequent users from various departments will find a benefit in using it.
How do I set up the Slack integration?
- In your Slack application, navigate to Apps -> Add Apps in the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Search for Oppido and click on it. A new channel called Oppido will appear. Open it, if it isn’t opened automatically.
- Type in /oppido and press enter. You will be asked to log in.
- Log in using your Oppido credentials and navigate back to Slack.
- Congratulations you have now connected Oppido and Slack. It will automatically appear on any device, where you use Slack.
What can I do with the Slack integration?
Two things:
- You can receive notifications from Oppido into your Slack account. Using this functionality you make sure, that you don’t miss any important updates in Oppido.
- You can create new Oppido ideas right from your Slack chats. Using this functionality, you can quickly note new ideas you see.
How can I disable my Slack connection?
To disable Slack connection, follow these steps:
- Log in to Oppido.
- Click on the colored circle with your initials at the bottom left corner.
- Click on Applications.
- A new window will appear where you can see a Slack integration with your name next to it.
- To completely delete the integration, click on the trash can icon .
How can I turn off the notifications?
To turn off the notifications from Oppido, follow these steps:
- Log in to Oppido.
- Click on the colored circle with your initials at the bottom left corner.
- Click on Applications.
- A new window will appear where you can see a Slack integration with your name next to it.
- To turn off the notifications, switch the toggle (notifications inactive).
My integration isn’t working, what should I do?
