Dimensions – what they are and how you add them

What are Dimensions?

Dimensions are any methods, using which you split your business. For example Verticals, Regions, Products, Target Groups. Every Dimension than has several Dimension Values (i.e. Verticals – Healthcare, Finance, Technology, Retail…)

Where are Dimensions used?

Dimensions are used to create Breakdowns. Breakdowns allow you to split Goals and Campaigns between multiple Dimensions. I.e. Goal 100 Pageviews can be split among Vertical Healthcare 50 and Vertical Telco 50.

How do you add/edit Dimensions?

To add a dimension, you need to have admin rights. Then, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Oppido.
  2. Click on your initials at the bottom right corner.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. In the window that opens, click on Dimensions in the left menu.
  5. Click on Add at the top right corner.
  6. Click on Add Dimensions. Name the dimension and click Save.
  7. Click on Add again at the top right corner.
  8. Click on Add Dimension Value.
  9. Fill-out the pop-up that appears.
  10. Once you are happy, click on Save.
  11. To edit, simply click on the three dots next to the Dimension Value name.
